Simon Pendlebury BSc (Hons) MCSP SRP

 

Simon qualified with a First Class Honours Degree from The University of Salford in 2007.

 

He began his career working as a junior physiotherapist at the Royal Bolton Hospital gaining experience in all areas of physiotherapy including musculoskeletal, orthopaedics, neurology, respiratory and cardiac rehabilitation.

 

Within two years he was promoted to a senior physiotherapy position.  This would include dealing with complex case situations and  mentoring undergraduate students from local Universities.

 

He then worked as a Specialist Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist at Bolton NHS Trust.  Recently Simon has taken up a role as an Advanced Musculoskeletal Practitioner working within GP practices within the Bolton region.

 

Alongside his NHS work Simon has worked as Head Physiotherapist at Blackpool Rugby League Footbal Club and Bolton Wanderers Football Club Academy.  He then moved into private practice before setting up his own practice in 2012.

 

In order to keep up to date with an ever evolving world of health care, Simon dedicates himself to ensuring his practice involves using the latest evidence based treatments and techniques.  He has gained post graduate qualifications in Acupuncture, Spinal Manipulation, Advanced Sports Massage, Injection Therapy and Non-medical Prescribing as well as attending numerous other courses and conferences involving the latest research in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy.
